Dear Secretary Kennedy,

THANK YOU for investigating the $27 million HHS grant to the Council on America Islamic Relations (CAIR).

I was greatly heartened to read your statement that “If there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or ties to designated terrorist organizations, we will act.”

CAIR and its allies are likely to put immense pressure on you, HHS staff and members of congress to counter the probe.

America’s great future is threatened by the Islamist agenda to mandate Sharia law for all citizens.   I urge you to stay strong through to the end of this investigation.
  
Here are just a few points to consider regarding CAIR:

Nihad Awad, CAIR Executive Director, proclaimed a plan to install 50 Muslims in congress during his speech at the 61st Annual Islamic Society of North America convention on August 30, 2024.  Awad said “That’s really the essence of dismantling the system of injustice is to replace it with the people of good will (ie Islamists) who represent the prophet Abu Salama.”   The “system of injustice” to be replaced that Awad must be referring to is the United States Constitution.  What other law would Muslims want in its place but Sharia?

Omar Ahmad, founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations, told a Muslim crowd "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."   At the Islamic Association of Palestine’s third annual convention in Chicago in November 1999, Omar Ahmad gave a speech at a youth session praising suicide bombers who kill themselves for Islam. "Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam — that is not suicide. They kill themselves for Islam," he said.

The United Arab Emirates’ ministerial cabinet listed the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as one of 83 banned terrorist organizations on November 15, 2014. 

There is a large list (too large for this email) of CAIR officials who have been convicted of crimes, deported or sentenced to prison related to terror.

CAIR’s agenda has been very destructive to American values with its dozens of frivolous lawsuits, advocacy for convicted terrorists, opposition to federal laws and policies that protect Americans from terror, and agenda to replace the United States Constitution with Sharia law. 

Please stand strong for America to the end.
