Dear Senator,
I am very disappointed that the US Senate has not taken action on the SAVE Act that passed the US House on April 10, 2025.
I am equally disappointed that it appears the GOP lead US Senate has no plans to push other conservative legislation because of the filibuster rule that allows the Democrat minority to block such bills that could otherwise protect and prosper Americans.
Simply pointing out the merits of the One Big, Beautiful Bill of 2025 will not make electors happy about two years of otherwise conservative inaction by congress.
I urge you to at least take a vote on the SAVE Act and other conservative legislation if for no other purpose but to put senators on record for the voters to make good decisions at election time.
Or perhaps GOP US Senators should take a bold step to modify the filibuster rule so as to not waste another year of GOP majority in both chambers. Democrats have already said they plan to end the filibuster if they secure a majority in the US Senate.
Voters are watching. Inaction by GOP leadership is obvious especially when you have senators like John Kennedy publicly saying the Senate had accomplished "nothing, zero, zilch, nada." No wonder ten Republican Representatives are leaving congress to run for governor. How many more GOP members of congress will leave because the prospects of enacting conservative legislation are “zilch?”
GOP US Senate inaction could increase the chances of losing the majority in the US House giving no chance for enacting conservative laws that could protect and prosper Americans.
I urge you to put the SAVE Act and other conservative legislation to a full vote and consider modifying the filibuster rule to pass important legislation.
