Dear Washtenaw County Prosecutors Office,
I am very disappointed that your office declined to bring charges against a Muslim student suspected of a hate crime- hoax.
It is clear from the evidence that the student filed a false criminal complaint:
• “During the course of the investigation, numerous inconsistencies in the statements provided by the alleged victim were identified. Following a thorough investigation, detectives have determined the incident in question did not occur,” police stated.
• “Police talked to businesses nearby and reviewed surveillance tapes in hopes of tracking down the suspect … no one witnessed the event, and the woman was never seen in any surveillance footage. Detectives reviewed hours of footage,” Fox 2 reported. “The woman could be charged with filing a false police report. … The prosecutor’s office will be reviewing the case, which could include a felony charge because the crime she reported — ethnic intimidation — is a felony.”
Muslims across America are filing bogus hate crime reports. One goal of these hate-crime hoaxes is to bolster the false narrative that Islamophobia is rampant in the United States.
Sharia law permits Muslims to lie to unbelievers if it advances the cause of Islam. Such lying is called Taqiyya. “Taqiyya is an Islamic juridical term whose shifting meaning relates to when a Muslim is allowed, under Sharia law, to lie.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiya
Sadly and ironically, your decision not to charge the Muslim for lying in this hate-crime hoax under American law is appeasing Sharia law by permitting a Muslim to lie in a legal forum if it advances Islam.
Please reconsider your decision to charge the Muslim student suspected of this hate-crime hoax.
